Save Your Brain Webinar

Dr. Kharrazian and Sean Croxton discuss Brain Fog

brain fog screen

Sean Croxton of Underground Wellness and I had a great brain fog webinar, that is now available for replay.

We talked about technology induced dementia, a phenomenon that can start in childhood, and how poor brain development in childhood can show up later in life.

We also talked about how inflammation in the brain does not shut down in the way it does in the body, which means a brain injury can manifest years down the road.

Although brain inflammation ages the brain too fast and causes symptoms such as brain fog, memory loss, depression, and more, there is hope.

Certain flavonoids and antioxidants can help dampen inflammation. But even more important than that is to manage diet and lifestyle issues that cause brain inflammation and brain fog. This is where we dig into the meat of the matter.

If you missed the live webinar, no problem, you can watch a replay here.

Depression and Brain Fog

Datis and Kelly Brogan discuss Depression and Brain Fog

One of the most wonderful things about functional medicine is applying research findings clinically with often amazing results.

And one of the most frustrating things about functional medicine is how difficult it is for those findings to be accepted by society.

My friend, integrative psychiatrist Kelly Brogan, MD, discovered this when her new book A Mind of Your Own.

A Mind of Your Own was blacklisted by major media outlets. Why? Because mainstream media is not ready to hear about the underlying causes of depression, the problems with antidepressants and their studies, and how medication for depression masks the disorder’s underlying conditions.

These are the topics Kelly exposes in her book A Mind of Your Own, which is now rated number one on Amazon for depression.
